It has been so blissfully peaceful since the wedding. The Fianc… sorry, Husband (!!) and I took the week off following our wedding to honeymoon. We couldn’t fly anywhere, since we have a baby on the way, so we just relaxed at home. A little “staycation”! And it couldn’t have been more wonderful! Then, I looked at my calendar this morning and gasped… 2 weeks have already passed since our wedding! For two whole weeks I’ve been a married lady and this is the first you’re hearing about it! I’m sorry for being such a horrible blogger!

BUT! I have a few wedding photos to share! I’ll give you a sneak peak now and post some more later. And, I promised before I’d show you our DIY projects so I have them all lined up and waiting! Stay tuned!

Our photographer, Julio Loor of Loor Photography and his second shooter, Fernando were amazing to work with! I know I’ve posted about Julio before, but seriously these guys are so fun. The Husband and I really enjoyed our day with them!

Do you know what that number represents? 365? That deceptively large number just so happens to be the quantity of days that stands between me, my fiance and wedded bliss. 365! One Year! On this very day next year I will put on my white dress, march down the aisle and be magically transformed from a ms. to a mrs.

WOO HOO!

For the next 365 days I’ll be posting about our journey to the alter and the  many projects (did I say many, I meant, tons), trials, celebrations, and all out insanity we encounter on the way. I have high hopes that I’ll be able  to wrangle the fiance, as well as some recent (and soon to be) bride friends of mine, into making guest appearances. I’ll share with you the hunt for our perfect venue (which we’re currently lacking, still, maybe), our quest for a do-it-yourself reception and our search for the ultimate (yet, budget friendly) photographer!
